Leadership

CJE’s Board of Directors serves as the association’s  governing body. The primary focus of the Board is to provide unsurpassed knowledge and information to the industry while serving in a strategic planning role to ensure implementation of the association’s mission.

The Executive Director, Rhonna Endres, runs the daily operations and programs that will position the association and its members as cutting-edge leaders in the facility management & construction industry.

The Owner’s Advisory Council is charged with ensuring the mission of the organization remains focused on relevant issues that affect the industry as a whole.  The Council also serves as a resource to owners across the country.

Regional Chapters

CJE national committees and regional chapters explore emergent practices demonstrating enhanced industry outcomes through a forum for the exchange of knowledge and expertise.  Our regional chapters are composed of professionals working together to create solid foundations for collective success including construction managers, project managers, facility managers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, attorneys, technology providers, suppliers, and educators involved in the most utilized project delivery method in America.  Continuous review of key performance indicators to enhance best practices in each region is a primary goal.

Committees

One of the most valuable benefits of CJE is taking an active part in a committee with your industry peers. If you are interested in volunteering, please log into your member profile and select the committee in which you want to participate or contact Gloria Fuller at gloria@jocexcellence.org for assistance.

CJE members can volunteer to serve on working committees to contribute to the industry.  The following Standing Committees are composed of members from each regional chapter:
  • Education Committee – The committee meets via conference call, contributes to the Research Library, coordinates white papers, assists in the development of special topic workshops for the chapters, and organizes national webinars.  The Education Committee includes representatives from each region in addition to volunteers.  Regions must obtain approval for education events from the Education Committee and the Board of Directors. A Committee Chair serves as the facilitator and organizer.
  • Election & Nomination Committee – Past Industry Chair and Secretary serve as Elections Chairs with volunteers to assist the efforts. Each Chapter Past President shall serve on the Election and Nomination Committee.  The committee shall meet via conference call quarterly and with greater frequency as needed during the election processes.
  • Legislative Committee – each chapter designates a chapter officer representative on this committee as a national effort to track and maintain awareness of legislative changes that affect the industry.  Members of the association may volunteer to serve on the committee to contribute to the organization’s legislative knowledge. A Committee Chair serves as the facilitator and organizer.
  • Membership Committee – each Chapter designates a chapter officer to serve as a chapter representative on the membership committee. Additional volunteers serve to contribute to chapter growth.  The committee ensures consistency in member services and leads the annual membership drive.

Ad Hoc Committees are developed on occasion based on issues and serve as temporary committees.
