Committees

One of the most valuable benefits of CJE is taking an active part in a committee with your industry peers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact info@jocexcellence.org.

CJE members can volunteer to serve on working committees to contribute to the industry.  The following Standing Committees are composed of members from each region:
  • Education Committee – Committee elects an annual chair, meets via conference call, contributes to the Learning Center, implements the educational workshops and webinars for the chapters.  The Education Committee should include representatives from each region.  Regions must obtain approval for any and all education events from the Education Committee and the Board of Directors
  • Election & Nomination Committee – Past Industry Chair serves as Elections Chair with volunteers to assist the efforts
  • Legislative Committee – each chapter designates a representative on this committee as a national effort to track and maintain awareness of legislative changes that affect the industry.  Members may volunteer to serve on the committee to contribute to the organization’s legislative knowledge.
  • Marketing Committee – marketing committee serves to create consistent branding across chapters, website maintenance, and promote CJE programs and resources including certification and education opportunities, Executive Director serves as Chair.
  • Membership Committee – each Chapter President (or a designated chapter officer) is a member of the membership committee in addition to volunteers to ensure consistency in member services and the annual membership drive.

Ad Hoc Committees are developed based on  need / issues and serve as temporary committees.
